From D.L. Moody, " The life of fellowship with God cannot be built up in a day. It begins with the habitual reference of all to Him, hour by hour, as Moses did in Egypt. But it moves on to more and longer periods of communion; and it finds its consummation and bliss in days and nights of intercession and waiting and holy intercourse.-F.B. Myer.
Today's Self Evaluation: "Is there a tendency to put others down so that I'll be thought of more highly?"
I can hear my grandmothers words ringing in my ears, "Honey, love one another" She always would pull this saying out especially when I was in full combat mode with my sisters when we would visit. If you have siblings I'm sure your familiar with the argument. I does not matter what you did or if you are guilty of the crime someone else either made us do it or did it first. I futile attempt to make the others crime appear more evil than ours. Grandma didn't go for it and neither does God. The word "humility" rings in my ears today.-B.K.
